In this sixth of seven episodes, Marion goes to meet the villagers to understand how they perceive the forests' industrial exploiters. Some, very poor, are ready to give up their forests for a few crumbs in the absence of needed alternatives, but others won't let themselves...

In this third of seven episodes, Marion leaves Oshwe by pirogue. All along the river, loggers have opened up large "holes" in the forest, to remove valuable timber.
